The doggie daycares are closed during this pandemic, so pet owners need to consider how to take care of their four-legged families while they’re off to work. Luckily, two adorable dachshunds named Cocoa and Chorizo got to tag along with their dad while he delivered for FedEx, and it turned out to be a fantastic idea.
Doggie dilemma
Before the pandemic, Cocoa and Chorizo spent a couple of hours in the dog daycare center while their dad, Daniel Nava, is working. But things have changed now, and dog daycares have to close temporarily.
The situation left Daniel with a dilemma. Does he leave the pups at home, or could he bring them to work? The latter idea sounded more appealing, as he was able to bring these two pups to work in the past. Fortunately, Daniel’s supervisors didn’t mind, as long as the three of them stay safe at all times.
FedEx’s cutest delivery dogs
So, Cocoa and Chorizo became the unofficial delivery dogs for FedEx. Daniel even dressed up these two sausage dogs with his old FedEx shirts, so that they all look professional together while on duty. To complete the look, Daniel also made them wear doggy sunnies he got from Amazon.
As for safety, Daniel made sure the pups are harnessed to his seat while he drove. The dogs were on their best behavior while Daniel delivered the packages, and he could not ask for better work companions.
Cocoa and Chorizo probably think that keeping their dad company is way better than staying at home or the daycare. When they need to stretch their legs for a bit, Daniel lets them run around the neighborhood park. They also do frequent deliveries to the local shopping center, and people can’t help but notice Daniel’s four-legged sidekicks.
Daniel, Cocoa, and Chorizo are happy that this set-up works for them. These sausage dogs get to enjoy the outdoors, and they also love spending every minute with their dad. Looking cool in their FedEx uniforms, is, of course, a great bonus.
