Maeve is an autism patient who has been given a service dog named Scott to help in her daily activities. Her parents Cathy and Joe want Maeve to have an independent lifestyle with Scott’s aid. Their plan is to have the guide dog accompany Maeve everywhere and be a reliable friend for her.
Maeve plans to go to school, the beach, the supermarket, and everywhere with Scott. She realizes the challenges posed by her autistic condition and therefore got a service dog for assistance. Maeve is at heart a great person, says her dad Joe, and Scott helps to bring out the best in her so she can showcase her personality to the world.
Joe and Cathy obtained funding from the community to get Scott and are grateful for the help they received. People from all walks of life contributed to the cause and aided to raise the needed money. Maeve, Scott, Joe and other family members go on night walks to enjoy the scenery and admire the neighborhood.
Maeve’s parents thus wish her to have a life of her own without their aid. Scott plays a big role in this. The service dog helps Maeve flourish and lead a fulfilling and happy life despite her condition.
