Stray Dog Steals Library Book about Abandonment

Dogs are great at gaining attention and a stray canine in Brazil proves this point. The lonely stray arrived from nowhere and found sanctuary at a college library in Brazil. His brazen antics have made him famous on the internet.

The dog settled at Feevale University in Novo Hamburgo city and rested for a while. Then he gathered courage, went into the library, and departed with a book on abandonment which was quite a suitable subject for his current situation.

CCTV cameras captured the incident and a student went and retrieved the book from the dog. The footage was posted on the web and became viral, garnering over 750,000 views in just a few days.

Animal rescuers were notified and they took the dog to a vet for a checkup and bathed and vaccinated him. The pooch is now resting at a foster home getting much-deserved attention and love while waiting for loving pet parents to adopt him.

This heartwarming story tells us how smart dogs are. They are good at getting help by performing actions that gain their attention. In this case, the stray dog’s “theft” paid off as it gained him the attention of animal rescuers and comfortable foster home.
