Tig is a small pit bull that was found abandoned on a road in Washington D.C. Dog rescuers took him for immediate treatment to an emergency animal hospital but his condition was dicey. He was a bag of bones and just had minutes to live. His weight was just 15 pounds, not even half the normal weight of a typical pit bull of his age and size.
After 3 days of recovery, he was taken home by foster mom Kim O’Keeffe. Tig was very weak and sad for the first couple of days. He recovered gradually and began walking by the end of the week. The next week, Tig started playing and engaged with O’Reefe’s Rottweiler. By the third week, Tig was taking walks around the block. He was no longer a sickly puppy.
Tig had become a strong, active canine whose coat and fur started to glow as well. He had transformed magically both physically and emotionally. Next, Megan adopted Tig and took him to live at her home with her husband.
Tig had a great time in his new home frolicking on the couch, bed, and everywhere. He plays and romps all the time with Megan’s two other dogs. Megan is impressed that Tig is able to love and give so much despite the hardship he had gone through.
